Established in 2017-18, The Popular Lecture Series (PLS) at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College reflects the institution’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and holistic student development. The series is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world understanding by bringing experts, practitioners, and academicians to interact with students on diverse and relevant themes.

Through its sessions, PLS provides students with exposure to contemporary issues across fields such as technology, economics, governance, and national development. Each lecture is structured to encourage interaction, clarity of concepts, and practical understanding, enabling students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-life applications and emerging career pathways.

During the academic year 2025–26, the series hosted several impactful sessions, including a workshop on Data Analysis with Excel, focusing on practical analytical skills and data interpretation; an Awareness Session on Financial Literacy, highlighting responsible financial planning and informed decision-making; a lecture on the Importance of a Strong Military in India’s Foreign Policy, which explored national security, geopolitical strategy, and defense preparedness; and a seminar on Viksit Bharat 2047, which emphasized the role of youth in nation-building and India’s vision of becoming a developed nation. Together, these sessions enriched students’ academic experience by providing valuable insights, expert guidance, and a broader understanding of national and global issues.
