Asian Arts – Mandala and Madhubani revisited

ARTEYSANIA- The Fine Arts and Craft Society organised a workshop on traditional Asian Art forms, Mandala and Madhubani Art on 6th February 2020, at the college. Mrs. Veenam Sharma, an Art Therapist was invited as the resource person. She taught the students about both these spiritual art forms and how they are recognised as a form of meditation.
The workshop was very interactive and fun as everyone learnt by doing. Students from various colleges of Delhi University, Ambedkar University Indraprastha University, attended the workshop. The event saw active participation from teachers of all the Departments, as they were eager learners.
The finale of the event, was attended by the Principal of the college, Dr. Gyantosh Kumar Jha and Bursar of the College, Dr.V.K.Arora. The Principal was welcomed by Society Convener Dr.Charu Mathur, with a memento. Sir, felicitated the trainer and appreciated her work.Every trainee was also awarded a certificate for attending the workshop and doing a marvellous job on their artworks.
It was a great learning experience for everyone. The Core Team Members of the Society, headed by Shoaib n Maya, Convenor, Dr. Charu Mathur, Co-Convenor, Dr. Anjali Gupta
did a great job in keeping everything in check and made this event a huge success.
