A delegation from Tajikistan visited ARSD College

21st October was, indeed, a special experience for the volunteers of NSS ARSD.

Hosting the visiting delegation from Tajikistan, NSS ARSD truly embodied the spirit of "Athiti Devo Bhava", giving a rather warm and unforgettable experience to our guests.

The group was welcomed with an address by V.K. Arora sir and a beautiful performance by Kalashree, the college's Indian Dance Society.

The Chief of the delegation seemed to really enjoy the NSS clap and tried to learn it, aided by the volunteers.
They were then given a thorough idea about NSS and NSS ARSD, by means of a detailed PowerPoint presentation.

The Chief then acknowledged the efforts of the hosts, which was translated in hindi by a member of the delegation, and proceeded to address the volunteers. Videos depicting life in Tajikistan and the workings of the Volunteer group at Tajikistan were also played.

The event ended on a high note with a dance performance on hindi songs, presented by the delegates and a vote of thanks by our Programme Officer, Dr. Anjani Singh.

The highly successful event was well lauded by the entire delegation and NSS ARSD, yet again, truly challenged it's heights.
