Gurvandna R.M. Singh is an Associate Professor of English at ARSD College with over 30 years of teaching experience. She holds a BA (Hons.) and an MA degree from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She completed her M.Phil in 1988 from University of Delhi. She started her teaching career at Kirori Mal College and worked there for 5 years before joining ARSD in 1990.

Stemming from her core interest in the Victorian period, she also developed an understanding of 20^th Century Literature with special emphasis on the Novel & Drama. She expanded her specialization to include Ancient Greek and Roman dramatic traditions and Modern European Drama

She has taken on several positions of responsibility over the years. She has been convener of the English Debating Society from 2015 to 2017. Since then she has been associated with the Society as a faculty member.
