The students learnt a lot of concepts through an interactive session with them.

Trip to Uttarakhand

The society went on Annual photography trip to Uttarakhand in the first week of January to capture the scenic beauty of the place. Slow shutter speed photography technique in -2°C was tried for the first time and turned out to be an innovative and new experience.  Focus was also on exploring the villages and talking to people so that the real stories behind the shots could be brought into perspective. Ankit, our Head-coordinator took cinematic shots of different places such as Deorital (a 3km steep trek from Sari Village), Chopta and Rishikesh even in the snowfall. On the way back, the team visited Rishikesh to see Ganga Arti and capture that too in the lens.

Photowalk to India Gate and Lodhi Garden

The motive was to take shots of the Republic Day Parade practice in the early morning of chilly winter as well as the monumental shots at the Lodhi Garden. Students also took shots of the ducks in the lake over there. It was a great experience for them to play with shutter speeds and motion.Students with varied levels of photography knowledge join the society and enhance their understanding and photographic skills.
